Here, I will be posting in no particular order some general information and random facts about Toronto that will be relevant to you if you decide to visit.
1. Plastic bags at stores and restaurants cost $0.05 (5 cents). This was done in order to cut down on the amount of plastic going into the garbage, and also to promote the use of reusable bags. This applies to the city of Toronto, but may not in some other places in Ontario.
2. It costs $3/trip to use public transit, now matter how short or long of a distance you go.
3. You can purchase a City Pass which allows you to visit the CN Tower, Casa Loma, The Ontario Science Centre, The Royal Ontario Museum and The Toronto Zoo for cheaper than if you purchased separate tickets at each attraction.
