Toronto is Ontario's capital and has a population of about 2,500,000. The Greater Toronto Area's population is 5,500,000. This makes it the most densely populated area in all of Canada, and the fastest-growing as well. Toronto is famous for the CN Tower, the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere. It is also the most multiculturally diverse city in the world.
